ONCOLOGY, PELVIC HEALTH, AND ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICAL THERAPY TREAMENT
Rebecca Ouellette-Morton, PT, DPT, CLT, MS, PhD
Rebecca has more than 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. She has treated patients throughout Vermont and New Hampshire, helping individuals restore function, improve health, and return to meaningful life activities.
Her clinical expertise includes pelvic health, oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema management, orthopedic rehabilitation, and cardiovascular rehabilitation.
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England and a Master of Nutrition degree from the University of Vermont. She also earned a PhD from the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine. Her research focuses on oncology rehabilitation and the use of prescribed exercise to address loss of physical function related to cancer, cancer treatment, and cancer-related side effects. She has presented numerous clinically based research studies at national professional conferences.Rebecca is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist with expertise in lymphedema and swelling disorders. Her clinical practice spans the lifespan and includes both outpatient and acute care settings, including experience at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
In addition to clinical practice, Rebecca serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Vermont Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She teaches oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema management, pharmacology, nutrition, clinical medicine, movement systems, and cardiopulmonary patient management. Mentoring future physical therapists and supporting their growth as compassionate, evidence-based healthcare providers is one of the most meaningful aspects of her work.
Community engagement is central to Rebecca’s professional mission. She collaborates with DPT students and community partners to explore the social responsibility of healthcare providers through organizations such as VT Adaptive Ski & Sports, Zeno Mountain Farm, Here to Help, the Dragon Boat Festival, Planting Hope (Matagalpa, Nicaragua), and SURCO (Oaxaca, Mexico).
Phoenix Physical Therapy has more than 24 years of excellence in pelvic health. Under Rebecca’s leadership, the practice continues to build on that foundation by expanding services to include oncology rehabilitation, orthopedic and cardiopulmonary care, and a comprehensive wellness approach. Phoenix PT remains committed to holistic, compassionate, and individualized care.
Outside the clinic, Rebecca is the proud mother of four grown children and shares her home with her husband, three dogs, and two cats. She enjoys heart-healthy cooking, gardening, hiking through the woods, long walks and runs, and great music.

Kassidy Reed (she/they) PT, DPT
Kassidy graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2022 with a BS in Biology with a neuroscience concentration. She then attended UVM and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy where she discovered her passion for pelvic floor physical therapy. In addition to pelvic floor, they have experience working in outpatient orthopedics and sub-acute inpatient rehab.
Kassidy approaches each patient as a whole person, understanding that all aspects of the body and life can have an impact on pelvic floor health and treatment. They recognize the impact of the mind-body connection and support patients through treatment both physically and emotionally to help them learn more about their bodies and achieve their goals.
In addition, Kassidy is very passionate about advocating for and educating the LGBTQ+ population. She understands how intimidating it can be to see a new healthcare provider and strives to create a respectful, inclusive and comforting space for people of all genders, sexualities and backgrounds.
Kassidy grew up in Buffalo NY, and has lived in Burlington Vermont for the past 3 years. In her spare time, Kassidy enjoys climbing, reading, cooking and learning new crafts

Sophie Grace Laning PT, DPT
Sophie graduated from UVM with a BA in psychology and attended the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at UVM. After graduating Sophie worked for Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI, with her primary focus on neurological patients however, saw the broad spectrum of general medicine patients. Sophie was born and raised in Vermont and spent much of the last decade living in Rhode Island, loving the beaches! Ultimately, missing her extended family and the mountains, she returned to Vermont to raise her son.
Sophie’s whole body approach allows her to give each patient the best care they deserve tailoring each treatment to the individual. Sophie understands the strong mind-body connection and is able to use both physical and emotional support to help her patients to achieve their goals and regain a better quality of life. As a new mom and previous patient of pelvic floor therapy, Sophie understands the need and sensitivity required to help others through their pelvic floor journey. Sophie is compassionate, understanding and thoughtful, realizing that the patient is the cornerstone to their own healing.
When not at work Sophie spends time with her husband, toddler and senior dog exploring the outdoors or cozying up inside to read or play cards!
ORTHOPEDIC AND PELVIC HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPY TREAMENT
Natlie Karlin PT, DPT
Natalie graduated from the University of Vermont in 2013 with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UVM in 2006. Before working as a physical therapist, she served as an AmeriCorps member and an instructional assistant for English Language Learners.
Natalie started her PT career in orthopedic rehabilitation and has treated patients recovering from a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and pain conditions. She is now developing her expertise in pelvic floor therapy, with a special interest in working with pre- and post-partum patients and individuals experiencing urinary incontinence. She has taken multiple professional development courses in myofascial release (MFR), a hands-on technique that targets muscles and surrounding connective tissue (fascia) to reduce pain and improve movement. Natalie regularly incorporates her background in psychology and education into her PT sessions. She strives to create a supportive, collaborative environment, with patient education having an ongoing thread during each appointment. The end result is an informed patient who is empowered to fulfill their rehab goals.
When she is not working, Natalie likes to stay active and spend time outside with her two kids, her husband, and her dog, Norman (“Normie”). She enjoys hiking, playing softball, kayaking, gardening, reading, and live comedy.
PEDIATRIC PELVIC HEALTH AND NEUROMUSCULAR PHYSCICAL THERAPY TREATEMENT
Michelle Yargeau PT, DPT
Michelle Earned her B.S. and MS. PT. from Springfield College, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons University. She is a board certified wound specialist (
CWS) and worked for the American Board of Wound Management on the exam committee, developing the national certification exam. She began her career working in Pennsylvania in acute inpatient rehabilitation with Physical Therapy with primarily neurologic diagnoses, with a specialty in spinal cord injury. She has also worked in pediatrics in a school system, sub-acute rehabilitation and home-care. She worked as a Professor of Physical Therapy at several institutions as well. She has presented research nationally, as well as providing education for physical therapists locally and nationally. Michelle is a published author of several research articles.
She is the mother of two grown children. In her free time, she is an avid road cyclist and alpine and back-country skier in the winter months, and an NCAA swimming official.
Michelle first developed an interest in pelvic floor physical therapy when experienced clinicians were teaching the material in her classes. She enjoys combining her love for teaching with knowledge of pelvic floor rehabilitation and exercise in her current work, having developed a passion for empowering her patients with knowledge and skills to regain pelvic health.

Lisa Abbott
Lisa plays an essential role in our clinic’s daily operations, bringing years of administrative experience and genuine passion for patient care. She ensures everything runs smoothly, from scheduling appointments to coordinating with our therapists, handling each detail with efficiency and care. She believes a positive, supportive environment is key to healing and strives to create that for every patient who walks through the clinic doors.
Known for her warm, welcoming approach, Lisa helps patients feel comfortable and supported from their very first interaction. Her strong organizational skills keep our team on track and out clinic operating smoothly and with compassion.
